Parish Missions are not just for Lent and Advent; a Richard Lane Parish Mission “is like a breath of fresh air from the Holy Spirit.”
~ Martha S., St. Mary’s,
For those who many not know, I am the son of NFL Hall of Fame defensive back, Dick “Night Train” Lane. I am also a convert to the Faith as of April 19, 2003. Since 2005, I have been blessed to travel the world, as a Lay Catholic Evangelist, witnessing to thousands; teaching, preaching and sharing the GOOD NEWS! “Christ has died; Christ is Risen; and Christ will come again!”
I continue to travel the world, leading parish missions, speaking at Catholic men’s and women’s conferences, leading retreats for laity and Deacons, as well as implementing and establishing Evangelization programs around the U.S. and South America.
I have been featured on EWTN The Journey Home three times; Click here for an episode; EWTN Live with Fr. Mitch Pacwa, click here to view; as well as my own show on EWTN “New Wine in New Wineskins – Evangelization 101”.
The possible theme of the Parish Mission, would be “Standing on the Rock of Faith” parish mission series. This has been one of the most successful mission series I have ever done. It teaches and ENGAGES Catholics of ALL ages, how to not only understand their faith biblically, theologically, catechetically, but most importantly, PERSONALLY. How do we LIVE out our faith in this world… INVITING others to experience this great encounter with Christ, in the Eucharist.
I would arrive the Saturday prior to the Monday start of the mission, to speak at the Vigil Mass as well as all Sunday Masses to get people interested and fired up about the mission.
I would provide your Parish with a custom designed flyer to advertise this mission, to be placed on the website and in the bulletin.
I will take care of my own lodging, and travel expenses for this four day mission. The only thing I ask is that the Church provide a $1,000.00 Non-Refundable retainer fee; this locks the dates into my schedule. (If your Parish is financially challenged this can be reduced or waived). It will be accompanied by an Engagement Agreement. I also ask that the Parish allow me to take up and receive a free will love offering at the end of each session of the mission for my services.
There is LITTLE to NO PLANNING that needs to be done on the part of the
Parish. I have done ALL the work. I would simply need authorization for one of the following open weeks for the mission and I will do the rest of the work.
Each night of the mission would begin at 7pm and last until 8pm.
Inquire NOW about open dates in April and May of 2018!
